Na szczegóły przyszło czekać aż do dziś. Electronic Arts przed momentem wypuściło do sieci efektowny trailer, zapowiadając przy tym, że premiera Mass Effect Legendary Edition będzie mieć miejsce już 14 maja 2021 r. Gra pojawi się na PC, PlayStation 4 i Xbox One. Posiadacze PS5 i Xbox Series będą mogli uruchomić produkcję w ramach wstecznej kompatybilności. W skład Mass Effect Edycja legendarna wchodzić będą trzy pierwsze części serii Mass Effect, opowiadające o przygodach komandora Sheparda, a także ponad 40 DLC, w tym dodatki fabularne.
